Picture your build would be my suggestion, I doubt the amp itself would be the issue.

Yes they can take some abuse, & no they cant handle 1000rms continuously forever. Yes,i tried. A 2.5" coil just isnt enough to take 1k rms all day long. BUt lets be honest, Brutus 2k, 140amp fuse × 13 -20% = 1456 watts rms,2x rise = 728rms.

Well in that case things are looking pretty good,the brx can do near 2k with GOOD electrical. However it is crazy inefficient,trying to get 2k out of this amp will dip my voltage lower then just one of my sq3500.1's , so lets assume your voltage stays at 13v at full tilt. 13x200-28%= Thats 1800rms. Now we have 900rms per sub, automatically assuming a x2 rise will put you in 450watts a sub,your enclosure is right on target. Your looking at 400-900rms on music depending on voltage and impedance. You will be fine if things dont get mechanically out of control.

Yeah the BRX wasn't that bad of an amp but yes, very inefficient.. That's why I'm going with a SQ2200
