surprise its not low enough for my tastes / 10.2 cuft box thread

im with ken, what do you possibly listen to thats that low? our ears pretty much shut off at 20hts so theres absolutely no pointin playing that low

the lowest of the lows decaf and super low bass tracks

i just feel like it f3's too soon and it could have better quality in the lowest registers you know

so i got the box together and sub in and though it does get low and play 25 hz like a champ i feel like i shouldve gone with my gut and tuned it to low 20's instead of 32'ish as advised by knowledgeable members on this forum

EDIT : btw is now 4.8 cuft

What is there to be played below 25Hz?? what do you listen to buddy? obviously the recommendations were aimed at music listening.

With new RE gear, you have to sprinkle it with holy water and pray to sweet lordy jesus to help this sub play that low.

But you could always put a port plug in to lower the tuning.

editing posts is somewhat difficult sorry for above page vomit

also its the quality of the lows im after not the high bass ( 35 hz + )
