I'm thinking flat wall will meter a little louder, and heaps easier to build and tune.

Clamshell looks cool, more comfortable (can recline seats), sounds loud to ear but meters poorly, and a lot of work to build.

Lexus dont make em fold down seat cause it makes it a more quiet car with a fully sealed "firewall" or whatever ya wanna call it,quietens road noises from the trunk

Makes sense, just sucks for audio having to cut it.
