Hifonics question

i am personally running a hifonics Brutus 2500.1 and it's super inefficient it's ridiculous. i added a xs 3400 and noticed a small difference is voltage drop... i'd stick with a higher end amp.

1998 2 door tahoe

Subs: 2 DC lvl4 18"s

Mids/highs: nendo pwx 8" and 2 sets of 6.5" mezzo's

Amps: hifonics 2500.1d & hifonics 1200.4 & RF 600.2

145.8 seald up in the kick.

Not trying to bash hifonics cause I've owned them and never have had a problem

But it says it was tested at 100hz

Who plays 100hz from their subs?

That colossus was tested with a resistor load on the bench. Its gonna fall well short in a real world scenario.

Like n8 said in the real world scenario this amp fails. One day you will spend the cash on a real amp, and look back and go yep that hifonics wasn't good. Just saying...

I have had many of your so called real amps Ct 7k, Rockford T2500bdcp and tees higher end Hifonics amps are the real deal. Don't get it twisted there are some things they cheap out on a lil such as the Heatsink is thin, plastic pots on the control side but are still great options.
