mrwigglezdj
Well i never seen this part of the fourm untill now and since i just bought and installed the best thing ever to meet my van, i figured i would drop a review on it.. im reviewing the Memphis Audio MCD-2500 specs. RMS Power 4 Ohm Mono (14.4V) 625 watts x1 RMS Power 2 Ohm Mono (14.4V) 1250 watts x1 RMS Power 1 Ohm Mono (14.4V) 2500 watts x1 Input Sensitivity 250mV-9V Frequency Response +/- 1dB 10Hz-650Hz Dimensions 7.6" x 2.4" x 25.8125" Optional Remote Gain Control MCRG i purchased it from a authorised dealer All Wired For Sound located in milton fla. first off the amp is totaly sexxy imo. i love the finish on it... the power connects are of a nice size inputs as well as the sub connects are nice in size and all are located on the same side then the rca's and adjustments are on the other side, and the power and rca side have a eaisy to remove cover to gain access and to hide the connects and controls made for easy install the down side to the amp that i learned real fast : it takes alot of headunit pre out voltage to get the amp to full power. basicly need a line driver to connect to the amp.. not a big deal but still a pia since you have to buy the line driver and extra set of rca and wire to connect the line driver with.. next down side, amp does not come with a remote knob to "meade" the victoms lol the user manual from the mfg, is poorly writen imo there are some spots where they are explaing something and then just stop without finishing the paragraph and jump to the next item on the amp... over all out of 1-10 i would give it a 9 looks i would give it a 10, performance i would give it a 9 useability give it a 10 Americas loudest work van2006 iasca heavyweight bassboxing champion at 150.4 db with 60second average TL8 memphis PR15s,12 memphis PR6.5's coax,4 memphis PR 1inch tweets

MattPorter
I have this amp also now powering 2 alpine swr-1243d this amp is a beast if i plan on continuing to use this amp i will more than likely end up upgrading to fi-btln2 2000w rms 12s there is not much on the market in a 12 that can really handle the power output of this amp. Overall i give it a 9.

Overall i give it a 9.5 why would you bring a 3 year old post up? c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress
