KiKaZz74
So in the last few months we've gotten 4 notices from Rightscorp, Inc. They come from our ISP but I looked up the IP and it's from Wisconsin and I'm In illinois. Any ideas one what to do? I'd like to hear from no if he can help me out. The songs they sent us notices for I've never heard and no one around here has that I am aware of unless it is someone that doesn't come to our house. If you need anymore info please message me for it. I will be resetting the name and password for our WiFi as an extra step. Anything else tho? Motorboat KER
Check for router firmware updates. Check computer for any TCP/UDP traffic that you are not generating. See if you are backdoored.

n8ball2013
Its so ridiculously easy to spoof an ip address its not funny. If all they gave you is an ip I wouldnt worry about it. ll_wwcnd_ll
I would say its BS. Now if you were downloading torrents and you got a copyright infringement notice from you ISP thats a different story but there are ways around that. You can download Commview or Wireshark that will allow you to see traffic and you could filter by IP Address. I would say you are fine tho doesnt sound legit to me. 2007 4.2L Chevy Trailblazer Crossfire Build6 Crossfire xs v2 15s3 Crossfire 8ks4 Crossfire 6.5 Loudspeakers 2 Crossfire ST-1 Super Tweets 1 Pair of Rockford Fosgate T2 5.25 Components 1 Crossfire C5 800.2 1 Crossfire 400.2's7 XS Power xp3000s 6 C&D Batteries3 Singer Alts 6 Runs of 1/0 OFC (Sky High and Welding Wire)SMD VM-1SMD OM-1Pioneer AVH-p4800BSBuild Log4th Order BL - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189896-4th-order-crossfire-trailblazer-buildlog/ Flat Wall BL - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/198087-2007-42l-chevy-trailblazer-flat-wall-rebuild-build-log-4-crossfire-xsv2-15s-2-crossfire-8ks-xs-power-batts-singer-alts/ScoresMECA - 159.2 @ 37hzUSACI - 161.2 @ 47hzIASCA - 157.9 @ 47hz
Guest
I have been getting these piracy notices for years I think they have to hand out warnings, or the ISP catch shit for allowing piracy As for the idea of someone else using your IP address to download illegally, I would contact your ISP with your concerns
