Need Some Advice on Current Audio Build

hey whats up guys i made a post a while ago asking which box would be best for my car (350z) got some help from some of the members thanks a lot! I have a few more questions though. So for my car i had a box built and the most air space i was able to get out of my trunk was 1.0 cubic feet per chamber, for 2 12's. Im having trouble finding subs that will work in a sealed enclosure, i had to go sealed because ported i would of had less air space and that would've probably been worse so i made the best out of it. A local guy is selling 2 skar vvx 12's, i know those have compared to the sundown sa12 a lot but I've heard mixed reviews as you would with any competing sub. So i need the low down on them.

I know the sa12 hit louder but the vvx hit lower, I had the sa12's in my last car and LOVED them but i had a big ported box because i had the room for it so I'm wondering if any of these subs would sound good in a sealed enclosure with 1.0 cubic feet of airspace to each? I'm getting a pretty sweet deal on the vvx and if i can get these to work properly on my car then ill get them.

Im going to be using a rockford fosgate t1500, with 1/0 gauge rockford wire. I know the SKAR audio owner has been known to be sketchy (from what I've seen, never experienced anything) but in this case I'm buying them second hand so there shouldn't be a problem there.

sorry for the long post, but generally what i want to know is if either the sundown sa12 or skar vvx would work in the enclosure i have, and if not what subs would be best for my setup?

Also the quality of the skar subs

thanks for the help in advance, you guys have been awesome!

I'd be looking more towards some 8's with only 1 cube of space each. Good luck to you though. A 12" woofer will make some sound in a 1 cube box but it will be really poor.

i currently have 2 10" rockford fosgate p3's and they don't move enough air for me. I was thinking of upgrading to the 12" p3's i know rf recommends 1.0 cubes per sub sealed, but wanted to know if i had any better options =[ plus i had the box built already

just save yourself sometime and money and get some nice 12s now

something that can take 1500 rms+

for your car, I'd go with 2 10s in a proper ported enclosure or even 3 8s.

if nothing changes, nothing changes

You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know

For future reference, I'd suggest pick the subs first, then design and build the box. You may have backed yourself into a corner building a box for subs that don't exist.

I know nothing of tuning or airspace requirements, but I wonder if an option would be a single 12" sub with a passive radiator (if your box is shared chamber.)
