Anthony Amaya
So I'm trying to figure out how to keep my subs from clipping, but playing songs through my ipod give completely different reading when I use my multimeter.. my deck is set to 29 out of 35 and it doesn't distort till 31. I started by setting it to a 50 hrz tone, until I played a few songs and found that the songs that used to hit didn't anymore. so I tried a track that goes from 20 to 80 hrz sounded much better, but when I played the songs that hit I would get instant clipping. My bass boost is turned off, subsonic stops at 20. Any solution is welcome. I'm running 1 12 type R and 2 10 type R on 2 ta1.3000d amps. Nothing to special but it gets attention
CleanSierra
How do you know you're clipping? Are you going by a clip light on a bass knob? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

SIDE SHOW
^^ this, the 10"'s will clip befor the 12's. (and they wont last very long at all wired together from a monoblock)
