Well that amp rack is on the back burner, after listening and listening to my new box I decided I really didn't like it or the output. So I dug up an old box I build for the ZV3s from my previous vehicle and began testing this morning on which way to face it. Turned out subs and port up sound amazingly better than the Aero box and the air movement is greater as well.

Here is the old box after being unburried from the depths of my garage.

So after I decided I wanted this box back in and tested it I had to figure out how to mount the amp, now the previous design was based on the Aero port box so I had to come up with something I could fab up today and not waste the entire day. So I decided to mount a couple of strips of MDF on the box, and put the amp on those.

Now before anyone goes OMG don't mount your amp to your box, this is different. Because each strip of MDF is lined with MLV vibration blocking vinyl.

In addition to that there is of course carpet on these strips, and under the mounting area of my amp is ANOTHER strip of MLV, for a total of THREE layers of MLV between the wall of the enclosure and the amp itself.

So here you are going to see the amp mounted and I am working out where and how I want to place the second XS Power S3400.

Ultimately I decided to build a form fitting battery box and I used a piece of backstrap coated in heatshrink to help keep it secure.

Next is where I wrapped it up for the day, made a few changes and the output of my Jeep is much more to my liking.

Nah I am pretty terrible at doing vids, what I think looks good on camera looks like nothing or looks like crap. Ill try to get one I guess since I have never done one with the LIberty.
