Never missed a beat. Took it out and stuffed it in my work truck when I was a pool guy. Lots of chlorine and water on my fingertips, lots more heat, was not nice to it. After six years of kicking its ass like it owed me money, I gave it to a friend and he put two more years on it. I ran the 9800bt in 55+ vehicle of my own and it worked nicely. However, I never used the in dash CD player ever.
