Actually I think you can get more DB by working on your loading wall port. We did the opposite thing,. You started big and then tried to shrink the port with 2x4's. I started with a smaller port and cut a bigger port out. I lost quite a bit when I did that. When I tried to shrink it back down with 2x4 it really did no good because it will still blow air through the 2x4s.

Make you a nice solid removable port that does not lead with an opening that tested the best for you. Should make a noticeable difference.

I actually didn't have to shrink my port as much as I thought I'd need to, so I just used mdf instead of 2x4 and actually gain to the ear a noticeable amount. I probably am leaking a little bit since my cuts aren't perfect but I'm gonna take the port pieces out and shrink it by flaring with PVC so when I do that I'll make sure it's sealed up. I appreciate the tip though, definitely something I'll remember for the future!

Lol don't hate. But honestly, it's the song I was playing. I drove an hour and a half to a show with the bass full tilt last Friday then gave a few demos when I got to the show and the subs were fine, play my friends song two days later and lost the sub. Idk man, if I had the gains cranked I would come out and I say I fucked up.

I have no fear of dirty songs. Play at idle, -7.5 overlap and probably even more power.

You need to do other subs. Don't just do soft parts. Sell these and do something entirely different. Cuz something is up.

I've heard it's hard to hear distortion in bandpasses, but it did make my voltage drop more than usual. They're running off a ct 7k, what's wrong with the motors? I like them and I've seen a pic of a team aa motor with sundown softparts and it was pure sex
