diegoclass2010
what i have been up too and found out * 2 volts rcas suck * pac lc1 dint work for me/ replaced with a jl audio cl-rlc much better, bumps up rca voltage 7.5v * replaced one bad rca cable *found out box rise is a bitch *alot of air/bass is going to the trunk *roof by windshield flexes alot * baffle doesnt like 20hz and flexes alot * finally able to tuned with a dd-1 *finally started to use the im-sg and its a beast! on a whole another level, stated to use it today it blew my mind *i have two peaks 26hz low peak at 33hz high peak *i tuned way to low (30 hertz) for some reason i kinda like the port *i have 3.65 cubic feet on the sealed side. not bad 1.80 per sub *wiring at 1 ohm sucks. the amp never see's under 2 ohms what i plan to do... * find a way to seal of the trunk with expandable foam by the rear deck *make new ports with different tuning *play with the polyfil in the seal side and verify with the im-sg to get biggest cubic feet. *if i were to burn up the subs recone with d2 to wire down to half ohm * maybe add fiberglass layers to the roof to try to reduce the flex * reinforce baffle im open to opinions and help guys.. wheres my loud trunk guys? i know you guys are out there
