I recently did some testing of a marine grade amplifier for a manufacturer and when I was finished and provided the results, they told me to "hit it with some water from a spray bottle"...then "see if it still works". Ok, you asked for it...

Amp continued to play for over an hour after the test. I kept it outside so it could "drip" dry, LOL. Afterwards, I brought it inside, took off the bottom plate and the amp was dry as a bone. Now it could have dried just being outside in the 90 plus degree sun, but either way, she kept on working!
