These Sundown SA8v2s are very picky on box enclosure. Avoid prefab box at all cost. These SA8v2 will pound hard with the right enclosure. I have just 1 SA8v2-D2 in a .9cu slot port enclosure tuned to 36hz running on an old school Memphis 1100watt amp and it hit hard. These sub are underrated, it can and will do double what Jacob rated at. 1 can do 1k watt daily in a right box, so if u have 2, I suggest getting a 1700watt or bigger to run 2.

I have 2 on a t1500 bdcp and I can get them stinky if I wanted too pretty easily.

Well, not exactly 1100watt, but maybe 900-1000watt due to stock electrical, but I've been running it for a year now. My Memphis amp took a swim in ice cold water. Lol. Now I got a DD M2b amp and just pick up 3 more SA8v2 used on CL. Just waiting for my box to be build.

OP, stick with the 1100w amplifier.

Everything else done right, the subs can take 750W RMS each without any issues.

I say I have mine on a t1500, which I do. And that I can get them stinky, which I can.

Also, I tuned my amp with a -10db tone...

that helps get them stinky a bit!

The T1500 is for all practical matters a very nice ~2K amp, one has to be a little careful with that one.
