MickyMcD
Two one ohm stable amplifiers, three dual coil woofers. Three coils to one amp. If dual 4 ohm woofers, final load should be approximately around the 1 ohm area. Derrick824
I have my three subs in a series parallel configuration to a single 1ohm connection then both my amps strapped @ 1ohm.
Torres
my first thought is...what kind of amps are in your car? same alpines? because you gotta make sure your amps can handle the load the extra subs are gonna put on them. Derrick824
Are the two amps strappable? What is their lowest stable impedance? What is the coil configuration of your subs? Here is a very helpful link. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp
meade916
derricks answer is the ONLY answer in your situation......if your amps are strappable, thats really the only way you can do it. The only PROPER way to do it i should say. in case u dont understand strapping, that is when you take 2 amps and basicly make one big amp out of them....
