People who've ran Fi SP4 15" or have exp with em get in hereeeee

So, some of you may now I am running Sundown X's right now, and have CT Sound Exo's sittin waitin to be installed.. Well, I have actually been thinking of selling the Exo's and getting SP4..

My questions are...

1. What do they like as in box size?

2. Port volume?

3. Power....? I know they are rated at 3k rms, but what are you running to em?

I plan to run 1 BC3500 @.7 on each sub.

I had mine in 4.25cbft on a dc3.5 at .7 and it was awesome! Tuned to 31 with 55" if port it blurred my Vision on the low 40s and played down to 25hz. Then I had it in 4.25 at 28hz with 70-75" of port and it destroyed lows down to 22 but sucked above 40hz. I'd run 4-4.25cbft with 60-65" of port tuned to the low 30s, they'll take a 3500 all day.

I'd run 4-4.25cbft with 60-65" of port tuned to the low 30s <--- Very good option. My setup fits in this range. I would have gone up to 70" of port if I had room.

I'm way over volume wise. Fucked up. Over 5 cubes per.

Way low on port area. More fucking up.

Power I've had

dc 10k on at .7 (all 4)

2 populus 6500's at .35 and. 2.8 (1 on each pair)

4 populus 6500's at .7 (one on each)

I'm tuned at 31, but I would tune around 34-35 if I could do it again.

I really like the way they play. For a daily pounder, demo king, they really hold their own.

I prefered the DC 10k though, I will say that.

Id run around 4cubes per driver, and ME? id do more like 275-300 inches of port. (this is for 4 15's)

Also, tune around 34-35. Even at that, the fuckers will dig to mid 20's. But still meter (i know, like anyone cares) VERY well.

You dont need to tune these in the 20's for them to get low. You tune around 33, and you will hammer 25hz dude. AND still punish the meter.

Port area, well.. i like what i like. I dont buy into the port area PER cube. I like the total. Regardless.

That said, you feed them a LEGIT 2200rms, you will be shocked. And, you can play them for days and days and days. HOURS and HOURS.

My shit didnt gain adding more power. They just got hotter. Maybe it was my port, or box, or whatever. I will say, on around 2k RMS they fucking dominated.

I could demo for 3 hours, then go get on the meter,.. take first in burps, then meter on 30s runs. Drive the pile back to my stall and DEMO for another 3 hours in 110 degree weather.

Im no box wizard. But for a DAILY, .. fuck.. these do fine.

You wanna burp loud, in the 40 range, get a smaller coil. with a stupid fs

wanna play for 11 hours ? they will suite you..... they will do you ok.

I think your nendo 3500 at and around 1ohm (.7) is perfect. IMHO

Im going to do 4 3800's on mine at .7 now.....
