They are different amp lines, all of them are bargain amps but the brutus models do closest to rated. (still inefficient and won't last forever).

HFI > Zeus > Brutus = Hifonics "Worst to best".

No I know about the different lines, but if you look on SonicE, I want the Hifonics Brutus X-14 series, and they go 1000.1, 1100.1, then 1500.1. And both the 1000 & 1100 are same exact price lol. Unless I'm still missing something

If you look further down the page on the descriptions, it says on product history that the x1000.1 was an old model that has since been replaced with the 1100.1

in other words the 1100.1 is newer and a better deal (when comparing just those two amps).

A good prefab that i have experience with are the RT Obcon ported boxes. My hds312's fit just right, but it's tuned to 40hz. Sounded great with 600W going to each sub. Sturdy durable boxes and a good price

In a friendly experienced way ,all i am going to say is the sq750.1+hds252 is a very very good deal for some quality stuff that will last very long. Anything cheaper and your actually "loosing out" unless its some high quality used stuff.

Edit* hds212

Should be a slight upgrade over the other model.
