^Small means nothing. Alot of the time the "smaller" subs, if you are talking about motor size, actually require larger enclosures. That being said I know nothing about your subs.

However, I disagree with most of the guys in here. If those subs do have a reasonable sealed resonance in 1 cube each (45-55hz ish. I think a lower ratio trunk 4th would be a great build. Alot of times people get caught up in what is louder not necessarily what is louder across a wide bandwidth. Do you know how to design and build a proper 4th order?

i can build it easily i just do not know how to properly design the box, any suggestions?

I actually LOVE this idea. 4 subs will fit into the space needed for just one. This is seriously a good idea since that sub is a low Xmax speaker.

If this were mine, I'd absolutely do an isobaric bandpass. It also can be a very good SQ setup.

I don't have time to design you one but I've done a few in my truck with success. Sounded fantastic in music. I wish I had the time to get you something. Try to hit up Ram DESIGNS on his website or on Facebook. There's also Robin Butler(he won't have any free time to help you likely), and a few others I'd trust.

My borthers 16th birthday is coming up and i got him a little present.

its not very big but the plan is to make it loud

i got him 4 r2d2-12 subs like i said not very big but they should hit pretty hard

and 2 r500x1d amps

each amp is matched at 645rms at 2 ohms

the plan is either a 4th order or a 6th order in the trunk.

ive never done a band pass before i need some help on a design or design ideas and if i should go 4th or 6th

any input is greatly appreciated thank you all for your help!! he doesnt know he is getting this so i want to make it decently loud

i know they are only prime subs but 4 on 1290 rms at 2 ohms should pound pretty hard. i will post pictures when i can

Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!

Apart from all other comments I just wanna say that if that's what you get someone for their birthday maybe I should tell you when mine is and I can expect a present?
