So I'm gathering pieces for my new build.nothing fancy nothing crazy clean and simple.I'm wanting good sound.

This build is a 2011 Chevy crew cab.I wish to retain the factory radio so I want have buy all the other crap to retain factory control.so far I picked up two AQ200.2 off eBay for cheap.plenty of power. One will be used to power a single 10 in center console box.I want amps under rear seats.I'm looking into a audio control DQ-61 for my OEM integration.I don't have a computer so 360.3 is out or anything else needs a PC to tune .

I will be using the other AQ200.2 to power my front stage.

Here is my dilemma. I'm use to my 3 way active in other truck.I'm looking into running 3 way again but passive.every where I read on different brands say 3 ways only shine actively.I guess depends on user.

So I'm thinking of just doing a 2 way passive setup.. will I be lossing that much sound going 2 way..what I'm asking will I be disappointed in 2way? Any thoughts or anybody done this.

Yes sir..I was thinking blues.lol

LOL .... I wish

I'm really digging the idea of 2 way active ... But you would need 4 active channels.

Replace the stock tweeters crossed over at 2600 htz on a 12 db slope.

Start out with the doors completely full range and tune from there ...

No problem ... Run 2 way passive with time alignment. Done it myself for years.
