Edgare50 Posted September 21, 2014 Report Share Posted September 21, 2014 Alright got a few questions for you guys so been really cool with a local car audio shop owner and we were talking today, I mentioned that i was looking for a 4 channel amp, I'm really rooting for the soundqubed, but will end up with the 2 channel ab one so then he tells me he has this hifonics amp, he pulls it out the closet, packaged and what not Its a pink box, has all manuals and the sticker, looks old, but you could tell it was never used. The new stuff is garbage compared to the old School stuff. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Not sure how ture the ratings are but the old school stuff was good. It's rated 4x90 at 2 ohm 12 volts and it is 1 ohm stable but has no rating listed for 1 ohm. $180 really might not be a bad deal but I'd try and talk it down as low as the guy will guy anyways. Op if you get it you should send it to someone with an amp dyno to get tested if you're willing to.
