Swordlordboy1234 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Video below showing it. I soldered all the wires together. Used quick disconnects very close to the tweeter and the mid in each door. Thats the only thing that has changed in the last 3 days since i installed these speakers. Passenger door doesn't make that noise. Could it just be a poor solder job? Anything else i should check? It does not make noise when the head unit is off (and door is opened / closed) Engine on or off seems to have no relevance either. Speakers play fine as long as the door isn't being moved (opened or closed), ill be fixing them shortly after some suggestions are made. Thanks again! poorfish88 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 I think it's either the connections or a pinched wire when the door moves. It seems like the sound happens when the wires move around opening and closing the door. Maybe a damaged wire in the bundle. From the vid, your ride has a nice install job, and you soldered the wires it's surprising your having a problem. I just fixed one of my sounds probs. Dam box managed to pinch one of my RCAs, alt wine like a mofo.
