Charger
Then the smoke settled.. Need to repaint those baffles, too much purple everywhere! So gave them a quick lick of paint and they came up OK. It'll do it's not a show quality install The purple isn't perfect but it was hard to spray it inside but most of what you can see through the port is covered. The 9915 isn't what I'm using. Just put it in for a test fit and too heavy to keep lifting in and out Entered an SQ comp today and came out with 1st place in my class. Not too bad I thought for someone who don't do SQ. Didn't even have woofers at all and still got a reasonable score for sub bass Copped a bit of flac for entering SQ and not SPL from my boys though haha I also got an SQ encouragement award which was flattering Cheers guys Previous 150+ daily rides: Volvo 240 wagon 2 x DD Audio 9915s walled, Isuzu Trooper 6 x DD Audio 3515s walled clamshell, Lexus LX470 2 x Kicked Solo X 18s, Lexus LS400 4 x American Bass HD18 walled SMD - System of The Month August 2008 My Youtube Videos

Charger
What did you have in during the comp? Just the coaxials on the A pillars and kicks. I didn't expect to win but then again I don't care for SQ anyway. Im pretty sure dd 3515s. Im following the build on 2 other sites. Yeah I ended up going 3515s in the end. With the power I'll be using at this stage getting better models would be pointless. I ordered dual 1.5 coils which were non-existent in my country so had to wait for them to get built back in Oklahoma City then sent all the way over here. Would have loved to have ordered composite cone 3500s but that would have really broken the bank. I think they're not far off from here now! That's what my distributor told me anyway. Once I get them it won't be long till we have sound and hopefully might crack 130dB Previous 150+ daily rides: Volvo 240 wagon 2 x DD Audio 9915s walled, Isuzu Trooper 6 x DD Audio 3515s walled clamshell, Lexus LX470 2 x Kicked Solo X 18s, Lexus LS400 4 x American Bass HD18 walled SMD - System of The Month August 2008 My Youtube Videos

Charger
Started running speaker cabling though the box, which involves me crawling inside and doing the whole lot. What a fun job Where it runs through the back of the box Me inside the box having a fun time being high on paint/resin and solder fumes The wheel arch The 8awg speaker cable before it was cable tied safely out of the way, bottom looks the same, nothing exciting. A shot of the baffle with cable and puurple box. You can also see my fire extinguisher mounted firmly as in accordance of the MEASQ rules Except I put mine on the roof for the hell of it. It won't stay there though. The tiny looking driver's seat The headunit I'm using. An oldy but a goodie. One of the first decks with USB and I still like her a lot! Also added a voltage readout which I need to make a mount for her to fit into the empty gauge spot on the dash... No more A pillars? WTF where did they go, anybody know? and a subtle hint/reminder of how fucked the windscreen was. hint hint... Also made some trim panels for the battery box. Just 3mm MDF which have little holes cut out. Still thinking of ways to dress them up.. Suggestions? You can also see the amp I screwed there just to see how it looks. I won't be using it in this car though. Hopefully the DD amps arrive soon but the Rockford is a very beautiful amp none the less! In this pic you can see the velcro that holds these trims on so they can be pulled off quickly and easily to get access to the batteries for charging/service etc. etc. And the dots of velcro on the back of the panel Thanks for looking guys and all suggestions/criticism greatly appreciated Previous 150+ daily rides: Volvo 240 wagon 2 x DD Audio 9915s walled, Isuzu Trooper 6 x DD Audio 3515s walled clamshell, Lexus LX470 2 x Kicked Solo X 18s, Lexus LS400 4 x American Bass HD18 walled SMD - System of The Month August 2008 My Youtube Videos
