Does the P/S on the doors stand for the Pro Sonics you will be upgrading to in future?

Passenger Side.

Their cars are the opposite of ours.

Thanks for the door card idea charger.

Mine are tanking and I wanted to add some front stage to my doors but didn't know how.

Thanks.

And LoL at the Austin Power Reference.

Okay guys so it's time to do a bit of wiring for the front doors. I'll only show you the left side, the right side looked the same but no photos were taken

The cable we're using, 12awg Aerpro, hanging on the mirror while it's routed through the car.

Posted Image

Cabled is grommetted where it passes through the door jam for safety reasons, note: dual runs of speaker cable.

Posted Image

Wiring chillin in the doors, ready for connection :D

Posted Image

Time to wire the speakers! :)

First we 'tin' it in the vice :) This will ensure we get a good solid join, I also tinned the speaker's terminals prior to soldering but no pics

Posted Image

Solder onto the speaker terminal, remembering to slide heat shrink over the cable first...

Posted Image

Then slide heat shrink back over the join, heat the heat shrink, so it well, SHRINKS! Good solid, safe join that will last many years, or until a few months down the track when I change my mind.

Posted Image

Lots of speakers to do

Posted Image

Gettin there, if a job's worth doing it's worth doing right

Posted Image

Finally all eight done!

Thanks for looking, guys! :D

nice work, should be almost audible over all that bass...

i was thinking of putting a set of 6x9s in my doors next to my 6.5s but im guessing this would make it sound wierd coz of the different shapes and sizes, any ideas?
