TeamHT
Look what I got... I need a router that can keep up. We have probably 16 devices that all connect to the house WIFI granted not all at once. Just looking for suggestions that is beautiful, beast, and capable for the bandwidth. Should bump up to 250 megs in another couple weeks and cap around 260 Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
redwolf2
I've always been a huge fan of Asus products. Take a look at some of them?
RainStryke
I'm not sure on your budget, but it seems you have a lot of devices you want to run at once. So this is what i'd recommend. Cheap but dependable: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320115 The flagship: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320208 ASUS does pretty good with driver updates if they are needed, seem to be dependable. The competition is also worth looking at: Netgear 6X NightHawk http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122611 Netgear 4X NightHawk http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122617 This is what I own lol http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320122R
Pasta Prime
I have the netgear nighthawk. Its ridiculously fast and the range is retarded. The only trouble I've had is that is doesn't like to release the ip when it expires, comcast only issue I think is what I read. I think the last update might have fixed that though. edit. mines the 4x btw New build coming........ Maxim
How the hell do you have 200 mbps down and only 10 mbps up? Who even offers a plan with that sort of ratio? wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
TeamHT
Our provider is called GCI, but it would be the Alaskan version of Comcast. Copper cable provider, we were at 50 down, 10 up. Upload speeds will be better once the 1gig COs are ready. Our zipcode gets it first I ended up ordering that 6x net gear simply because of aesthetics. Thanks all for the input and options. I hooked up the old router again (only 2 years old) and only getting 39megs download Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
