Hello. What type of RCA Cable's should i use for my sound system?

There is 2 type's of RCA cables.
1: Single Ended.
2:Differential Input.

I have tried to understand them but it was very complicated for me.
My Headunit RCA's output are like this.

My Amplifier RCA's input are the same. For the moment i am using Differential Rca's,the cables are twisted togheter. Inside Plastic shield(Not really a shield).
Can this cause bad signal or clipping (Noise) from the headunit to the AMP?

Kind of like those.5M5bAdM.png They are really thin, not thick.

That is not at all what he's asking. He's asking if he should use SE RCAs or differential input RCAs. The difference is in the way the signal travels and is grounded.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

I saw that video in another thread. I guess your head unit can take either one but it depends on your amplifier? Or does your head unit effect what RCA's you need as well?

it amazes me me how something can be blown up to something that in the real world use is just not that big of an issue. Tony is just describing the 2 types of signal yet all the noobs now think that the wrong RCA cable is going to make there stuff melt. Just the same way "box rise" has turned into the death of all bass. there has been tons of threads started about how to prevent box rise or decrease it.

if nothing changes, nothing changes

You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know
