Downsizing to two amps or staying with 4 is such a touch decision. If 12v, run this or the 10k. 10k smashes @ 12v. There are differences. I liked the 10k a lot when I ran it. I ran two DC 5.0ks on two Fi Teams. Power output below 14.5v is greatly diminished. The 10k is going to supposedly offer more power on lower voltage than two 5.0ks, so unless your buddy has extremely solid voltage with little drop, you might be thinking backwards.
