You could go really crazy with this and use the box that DD designs for these woofers to function properly.

I could, but I am trying to use Aero's and I think this is for slot ports.

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

Bringing this back from a almost death? lol w.e. I figured instead of just starting a new topic and to keep all info in one place to just repost. So I have final dimensions. I do not want to do a single layer of 3/4" wood, was thinking a solid 1" all around would do. Any thoughts on that? Also, no plans on glassing or anything on the inside of the box, just want to get the wood pieces exact and we will be good. So here is a picture if anyone wants to see to get an idea. Batteries will be behind the wheel wells like the one on the right. The wires will be tucked to the far right of the wheel well. Also with that M4, I planned on not running it at full. I believe that could be too much for the sub, also seeing as this is this guy's first big set up. After looking at these dimensions. Without using just the W1xH2x30" for depth. Using all 1" wood I can get almost 7.5cuft. So the box might still be able to be pretty simple.

Edit: Anyone know the displacement on the 9515j?

Bump for displacement on 9515j? I am looking at making the box at 5.06cuft gross with 1" wood. With that much, 3 4" aeros is 4.03cuft @ 36Hz with 14" long port. 2 6" aeroes is 3.4cuft @ 36Hz with 28" long port, and 1 8" aero is at 3.71cuft @ 36Hz with a 22" long port. I really would like to be able to test out all those areo's with the same box volume and tuning frequency. Going to see how that can become possible, if at all possible. Any ideas?

Id be really interested to see the results of using different size ports. The only way to switch between ports and keep internal volume the same would be to either have the port be 100% external. Or you could use filler blocks to bring up the smaller displacement ports so they occupy the same volume as the largest displacement port/s.
