Totalnoob
so at what voltage should i start to charge them? Right now when i shut off my car its at 13V then eventually goes to 12.6V-12.5V in about 20 seconds and stays around there.

Lbox88
The Menard's charger will charge them up the. About 14.6 until they are full and then back it off to the low 13's and float there until you take it off. UBL | Build Log
Cardboardcat15
Every time i buy an XS batt, they include a little slip that says nothing over 14.6 for charging. So I don't exceed that. Also, Schumacher is terrible, they charge at stupid high voltages. I found this out the hard way. My Channel on YouTube. Miguels
one thing i was told is even though they can handle 14.6 volts don't charge them that high. it will shorten the batteries life. its best to be at 13.8 for longer battery life for people who use voltage regulators is to set it at 14.4-14.6 during comps and bring it back down to 13.8 for daily i would say it goes the same if you keep them on the charger. one thing i did notice is. if you are going to let the batteries sit its better to keep the charger on them than to charge them weekly. i have the schumacher and the voltage never goes over 13.5.. its when you disconnect it and connect it again when it does that. somehow it thinks it a low battery and tries to charge a fully charged battery. my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
Lbox88
Yeah I had 3 different Schumacher's, varying levels of quality, from 3 different stores, and all 3 tried to charge at 16v+. UBL | Build Log
