A small video of my Zv4 12.

Finally got everything all in my truck. It's an extended cab 2000 f150. I have the following gear:

saz-2000d,

zv4 12 (dual 2),

alpine pdx f4,

alpine spr 68 coaxial speakers X 4.

Mechman 250a elite series alternator (coming soon)

It's been about six months since I started this build. Originally wanted one or two sa-12s on 1200w. I ended up with a Zv4 12 on an Saz-2000d. Got my box built and designed. Joe X helped me with the box and I made some small changes before I built it.

Box:

2.75 cubic feet @ 32hz

42 square inches of port

All 3/4 MDF

Double baffle

1 1/4 dowel rods.

This video is about 70% volume, trying to stay above 14v while I'm without the h/o alternator. Digs low around 0:23.

It is up. Stays above 14 for how I use it now sometimes down to 13.5, once the h/o alt gets here I'll really get loud :D

it's up at 70% volume... which we both know you didn't put that much time and money in it to get 70%. but i don't know any bass head without voltage issues. ho will help allot. plus being parked and playing a few songs will drop anyones v.

give anyone with kickers a demo yet?

it's funny cuz they either say 1 of 2 things.

1; damn how did you make it so loud?

or 2; my buddies uncles friends cousin has a way louder one!

love the set up man!

Thanks man it means a lot. It's my first build I've done. My type rs I just bought them and had future shop install it before I ever started getting into it. For the price they charged it was pretty well done, although the guy working there had a ton of experience.

Haven't given any demos yet, been working a lot.

But yeah can't wait to give a demo to some people I know who are the stereotypical kicker morons.

I reside in lower british columbia, couple hours from Vancouver.

I dunno I guess being my first build and all I thought anything below 12.5 was bad. So I try to keep it up high.

With the mechman alt going to be here so soon (IT JUST GOT SHIPPED OUT TODAY!!!), might as well stress my stock one as little as possible.

if you have a new alt coming and your not dipping into the 11s going full tilt won't hurt anything. id be shocked if you went pass the 13s to be honest.

but what's the bass scene like out that way. some of us don't have a fellow basshead for miles and miles, while others can't watch a movie without there house shaking.

we just started getting a bass scene back in Albany NY
