hey guys

i'm planning of buying a rockford fosgate power elite t1500.4

these are the specs of the amp online

- 4 x 200w rms @ 4ohm

- 4 x 350w rms @ 2ohm

- 2 x 500w rms @ 4ohm

- 2 x 750w rms @ 2 ohm

i want to run 4 audio system xion 12 inch subwoofers on the amp.

the subs are 4ohm

600 watss rms each.

will this play good with 4 of them or should i use only 2 of them on the amp.

That will "work" but I have a question for you, is that amp a/b class?

It's potential could really be brought out if you use it for mids/highs

Assuming they are all SINGLE 4 ohm voice coils...

1. You can run all 4 on 200w each (underpowered)

"- 4 x 200w rms @ 4ohm"

2. You can run 2 on 500w each bridged

"- 2 x 500w rms @ 4ohm"

3. You can run all 4 on 375w each (underpowered), 2 paralleled per channel and bridged

"- 2 x 750w rms @ 2 ohm"

the amp is a class a/b amp

and the subs ar dual 4 ohm each

so wire 2 subs to channel 1and2 for a 2 ohm load

and the other to to channel 3 and 4.

will this play good or not?

i think the amp gives more power than rated do

Do this on each channel.

With the differences in power you are talking, the cone area will make a bigger difference than the power.

Do you have room for the enclosure required?

You could even run 1 per channel @ 2 ohms to get 350w a piece to them

stop wasting 4 channels on subs

Get a 1 ohm stable amp, or suffer being underpowered and running a sad 4 ohm load.
