we are all from Buffalo, NY.

We went to California they eventually retired to Florida.

My grandmother passing on a year before that made me sad too because i picture him sitting there by himself all lonely. But the commercial really made it better seeing the people go sit by him. I know it's all scripted but it is believable which is nice I wonder how all this went down, none of us know

"While I can’t disclose too many specifics because of privacy reasons, I can tell you the gentleman’s last name is Sears, that he is in Texas, and that he served in the USAF in the early 1950s. Also, I can absolutely confirm that this commercial was shot in early October 2014."

Not sure who told you that but my aunt swears it is him. She is certain of it. I have no way to confirm though i will ask her what her source is. They live 3000 miles away so i don't talk to her every day.

The lady I contacted was Shannon Wilbanks she is with the ad agency Erwin Penland which is responsible for the commercial and hiring actors. I asked her about the Korean war vet in the commercial and she said his last name was Sears. Below is a link to the ad agency.

still not sure. Like i said, i will ask my Aunt what her source is. For all i know that lady is not giving you correct info. For all i know, my Aunt could be wrong. Ill find out.
