I bought skar....

I have recently moved to home audio with a set of Rockford Fosgate T3 components.

You check it out from the link to the home dipole project in my sig.

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

I have a plethora of more sources for you to look at too, but they get to very upper level knowledge extremely quick.

I would really love to see these links. I love learning about all of this... and high school sciences and physics have helped me learn some of it... never thought I would use it! Lol

Noticed someone suggest the t5 RF comp set.

The t4 comp set is imo from what it says o their web sit just as good.

Speakers are made if the same material as the t5 accept the center piece. It uses the t3 crossovers. Not any real big difference. You would save a few hundred $ and with a good active setup, placement and deadening achieve fantastic sound.

Sq isn't just about better speakers though it has a lot to do with speaker placement, time alignment, and eq.

2 t2d4 15"

1 t600.4

1 t400.2

1 set p1 tweets

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
