rockFord_Expedition
And exactly where are you connecting your leads to that you're getting 4 ohms and are expecting to see 2? RooTxBeeR
It is 2 sets of speakers on a single channel. And they are being connected directly in the back of the speakers, where push terminals are. I wanted to try out series that night but didnt want to make up my own wiring to do it. I will do that this weekend because it's freezing balls outside right now. I am expecting 2 ohms at the stereo pos/neg. Jessica
its 6-16 ohms and you are using 4 ohm speaker. not sure why that is hard to figure out. wire in series and be done. RooTxBeeR
its 6-16 ohms and you are using 4 ohm speaker. not sure why that is hard to figure out. wire in series and be done. Did you read? My uncle has had it like this and told me it cuts out, so I looked into why. My question is why if I have 2 4 ohm speakers wired in parallel why it doesn't show 2 ohms. Because what would series do if Parallel doesn't seem to work. Get me? SIDE SHOW
So your running two speakers off each side of this two channel? is that correct? what ohm load have you got each side wired too? (is the amp seeing a 2-4-or-8 ohm load on each side)? also whats the lowest stable impedance this amp can run unbridged
Hotdog
Check your solder joints on the the back side of the terminal on the speaker. All that information is posted several times already, but I will say it all again. 2 4 ohm drivers are wired in on left, and on the right. The final resistance is 4 ohms. They are wired in parallel. I am asking, why it's not showing 2 ohms.
