durangogo
I drive a 2011 Durango and got a PWK design box with 2 Type'R' 12's and they slam pretty hard. But now, I want more, so looking to build a wall. Since 2 of the choices are Rockford Fosgate, maybe Steve himself could offer his point of view ( Being a RF authority ). The power I have available are 2 Alpine PDX1.1000 ( birth sheet says 1049w and 1150w ) The set-up I'm considering: 2 - RF P3D4-15 or 4 -RF P2D2-15 or 2 - Alpine Type'R' SWR-1542D or 4 - Alpine Type'S' SWS-15D2 or 2 - Skar Audio DDX15-d4 or 2 - NVX VCW154 If any of you have a SUV with a wall, also let me know how they sound. Miguels
youre walling a Suv for 2k in watts? if your not planning on upgrading amps then the Fi SSD will fit right in with those amps my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
durangogo
It's not about the watts. I use most of the trunk for the box right now. I just want to put the box up like a wall, so that I could use full width and height and the least depth possible. I will check these SSD , Thanks

Hifonics
What are the dimensions for the space you're working with. The internal box volume will help you figure out what sub(s) you have the space to run. 2010 F150 FX4-18" AA Mayhem-Crescendo BC3500d-Pioneer GM-D9500F 4-channel-2 Crescendo FT1 -2 Crescendo Neo Forte 6.5 -Pioneer AVH-P3300BT-6000K HID Headlights/Fog lights-All LED interior lighting-20% tint on front windows, 1% rear windows, 5% windshield strip-Big3 (XSFlex 0ga) -DC Power 270XP -Group 65 NorthStar AGM battery Coming soon/plans: -Build log-Blacked out mirror reflectors-Tinted tails/3rd brake light
Joe X
At least 4 15s for a wall, building a wall is hard work and cost for some 500 watts subs, consider getting a little better stuff, it helps avoid frequent upgrades.
Skullz
There is so much potential for upgrading without walling it. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
Hifonics
I agree with Skullz. If you're going with that little power and lower-end subs, you won't see the gains that a wall has to offer. You will also most likely have wayyyy too much airspace in the box for the subs you're planning on running. 2010 F150 FX4-18" AA Mayhem-Crescendo BC3500d-Pioneer GM-D9500F 4-channel-2 Crescendo FT1 -2 Crescendo Neo Forte 6.5 -Pioneer AVH-P3300BT-6000K HID Headlights/Fog lights-All LED interior lighting-20% tint on front windows, 1% rear windows, 5% windshield strip-Big3 (XSFlex 0ga) -DC Power 270XP -Group 65 NorthStar AGM battery Coming soon/plans: -Build log-Blacked out mirror reflectors-Tinted tails/3rd brake light
