help choosing a sub

hi i am looking for a sub for my truck. i have an 89 ford f150 standard cab, i took the bench seat out and replaced it with 2 bucket seats. the center part is left open. i was wanting to put a sub in the truck and still have a seat and center console in the center, so i was gana use the idea of a saddle seat like in dodge or ford in the front row seating. so i measured the gap inbetween the seats. i measured: 14 1/4 wide, 10 high, and 20 long. using torres box caculator it comes out to just over 1 cubic foot. so i was thinking an single 8. since i do like a ported box.

now about the seat and center console part of the box. i was planning on getting a seat from a truck out of the junk yard or ording one and seperating the hinge and center console part from the seat. then attaching it to the hinge and cetner console part to the box and sub. then installing it all in the center that is empty.

what do you guys think?

DC audio is probaly your best bet. There Level 3 10's can handle a lot of power as many on this site will attest to. I've never heard there 10's before, but the 15's are insane. Given your space, you should go with a 10' so that you can maximize box space. I would suggest kickers, but i dont feel like getting yelled at by the entire SMD forum.

Also keep a look out for the RF P3's. Very clean sub for a great price.
