DubNDodge Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 As much as I enjoy my hds300s, you're going from a ham to a qubed woofer? qubed doesn't sound as nice as a real quality woofer. buddy has some lvl 4 DCs and sound difference is noticeable. Sure they'll get loud as you can see picture above. They meet my needs of having a little bump and what not so they make me happy. True I was thinking of other subs.. but I dont need them a couple of these should do it. I plan on doing a clean build, pretty damn close to yours as far as sub placement and looks go. what would u recommend as far as box tuning, I like low, but do the subs? Especially when you are trying to supply a product as cheaply to a customer while still making profit. They cut the corners on the quality of the voice coil, in regards to the glue holding the windings together. But like ur car thats exactly what I wanted to do, make it clean and not look like shit.. Might even keep the spare tire in there tho.. depends if id even be able to access it or not with the box in.Back to topic.. anyone else got any box designs? around 4.5cf/35hz, preferrably mid port, havent messed around with aero's yet.
