Amart88 Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Hey, I know I have seen some people, including Steve, that have bent their parking brake over a few inches. I was just wondering what the best way to do it would be? I tried pulling on it but seems i would end up breaking its bracket before it would bend. Any ideas? Aj11 Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 i had to do something similar with my 04 ranger. the gas pedal and brake were so close together i couldn't hit one and not the other. i don't have small feet but there not exactly huge either. i took a ratchet strap and anchored the upper part to a solid piece of the truck, then grabbed a big ass pipe wrench and pulled the opposite way. i was also worried about breaking the mounting bolts. but by securing the top tobe sure i only Bent metal. it took some grunting but worked line a charm. now go put your big boy pants on and get out there! jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
