Aj11 Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 what about the fi q with a high q? if your dead set on sealed that's what i would pick for sealed tens. if you don't think you will be using a sealed box forever, i would still get the fi qs just don't go with the high q. not sure if you know this, but the higher the q the better the sub will perform in a sealed box. i forget the exact number where one way is more ported and the other is sealed. maybe someone with a better memory will chime in for me. (of coarse there's a.middle ground where subs can do either, but some subs aren't meant to be sealed/ported) .37qts and above Is meant for sealed boxes. also can preform well in a 4th. jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
Smoove Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 2 SD-2 10's on a prime 1200 would be nice. I have an SD-2 10" and I am impressed with its performance on about 600w. I've been playing decaf to drowning pool on it for over a year on an amp with no infrasonic filter. 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/
BigMike916 Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 Honestly, I have heard the Audiomobile line and they are SUPER clean. The are designed for shallow mount for under seats and also have standard depth as well. Might look into those. I have 3 shallow mount 10's under my seat in my truck and they are super SQ clean, just not as loud as I like. If you can go with more than 4" deep, you can try the standard versions which should give you more volume(db). Here's a pic of what they look like....
