Neil Duncan Posted December 18, 2014 Report Posted December 18, 2014 I just bought a used scv 2000 it plays but it only playing when the gain is almost max my installer saying that it shouldn't even have to be half way to play right it sounds good but he's saying that it should be alot better how much does it cost to repair the amp Quote

Gain setting is to allow it to match the input voltage, so the lower the signal voltage the higher the gain needs to be. Neil Duncan Posted December 19, 2014 Author Report Posted December 19, 2014 Ok i bought some new mesa rca and now i turned down all the gains on all 3 of my amps it sounds alot better and i set the alpine head unit on 23 to 26 it sound good thinking about buying a line drive because the alpine imprint only puts out about 4v How many do you think i need to put out to have it right Quote
