I noticed that, Miguel, for most of the year. Nobody promoting their builds. When I got my win, I was "reminding" the forum what I had a few times a day, reposting pics and just getting people to talk about my install. Now, its like these guys just want to drop their names in a bucket and hope their name gets called.

Imo it's slow cause it's winter time and most are rebuilding their systems to get ready for next season.

Not sure which "season" you are referring to but this contest was never just for competition grade SPL machines...it is for every day people with basic to complicated sound systems and to recognize a quality install no matter the size. It has absolutely nothing to do with people rebuilding for dbdrag contests.

Well I been trying for a year or more, seems like all the votes go to the big guys with walls or 1000's of watts of power that seems to turn the guys on in here batteries and wires n shits. Maybe smaller guys feel like its a waste if their small systems arnt to the liking of the majority of voters. I know I got discouraged for a few months thinking it pointless how do I compete against a guy who has $50 000 in music and my small 5000RMS system. ill still vote and enter as long as its around tho. Just my opinion not bashing anyone everyones system is great

Maybe if you developed a point system based on categories and had admins judge it would take out some of the biased voting and give more regular joes with clean builds a chance more ppl would enter. Just a suggestion.

Just come with a clean install, it will get voted for. No need for a points system. If the build is worthy and promoted, it will get the votes it deserves.

Dragonware, that's a bullshit excuse. I won with 2 10's on 5k in the trunk of my Mustang. I paid alot of attention to detail, and I made sure to point out all the little things I was doing.

That undercover butt hurt is one of the reasons this is going away. Soccerballz didn't have a wall. If I have a bias it's probably with the post count.
