Guest Posted December 25, 2014 Report Posted December 25, 2014 So I am about to buy an XS Power D2400 to replace the front battery in my car. I want add a supplemental battery too. I was thinking about getting a small XS Power XP series battery like the XP750. In parallel, would the voltage be negatively affected by having two different sized batteries? I have heard that if the batteries are not equal that one will always discharge into the other. Is that true? Thanks!
OrionStang Posted December 25, 2014 Report Posted December 25, 2014 Different sizes don't matter. I am running a D1200 and D975 right now. Used to have a pair D3100s with them as well, never had any issues. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

SnowDrifter Posted December 26, 2014 Report Posted December 26, 2014 Nope no problems. Just make sure the batteries have a very close resting voltage or the higher one will drain down to the level of the lower one ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
