Ahmed Johnson
Don't use any tire shine shit on them. Just clean them and dry them. Now, every now and then I use my spray wax that I use on my car. I don't notice a difference though.

Can you elaborate as to why it will make them dull...if you are using it on the tires...just make sure you wipe the rims down after...overspray that is Build Log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186921-blk9te-07-yukon-slo-mo-build/page-3?hl=%2Bblk9te#entry2881410
Noel989
Tire shine looks like shit on rims It gives a rainbow swirl looking thingy I sometimes use turtle wax spraywax to get a "cleaner smoother" look and fill to it Build Log - http://www.stevemead...-cruiser-el-pt/

TRON
Simonized waterless wash and wax spray. It's not expensive and keeps my wheels nice and dark. Best bit, is it doesn't leave streaks if you don't completely dry all of it. I use one of those big fluffy, cotton wash mittens; Makes the job real easy if you have a tight spoke pattern. Ahmed Johnson
When the tire shine stuff gets on the rims it attracts dirt. Clean your rims and put the tire shine shit on two rims, I guarantee you the rims without it will stay clean longer.
