She hit the rear end going 40 mph. In the wreck she broke off all mounting bolts that holds system to floor of jeep. It slid back 4 inches and when this happened it pulled the wires out of the harnesses under the seats and touch together. Lost 1 Crescendo 800/4 rt side channels. 1 Crescendo 1100/4 right channels, Pioneer HU right channel front and rear. Question 1. Can a rear end wreck make a amplifier go out weeks later? 2. Had a buddy lose and an amp and a HU in a roll over, the HU was a flip out and the screen snapped off. Getting hit a by a car going 40 is one hell of an impact, so I can see that causing some damage to the boards. It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep. Could of knocked something lose or gave it a fine crack in the board, and daily use could of made it worse to the point it failed. How well did your woodwork survive the wreck? Been at shop for 5 days they tell me today there's oil or transmission fluid leaking now I told them to tell Progressive.
