That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

jcarter1885 Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 No they wont keep up, you are asking a 6.5" driver to make midbass that will keep up with a 12" subwoofer. Plus none of those drivers are true midbass, they are midrange just like the sealed backs but play lower than 200/300hz but you wont get any real midbass from them. There are some pa speakers that will produce some midbass but they will have to be ported. I was using 14 Eminence Alpha-6. Then started experimenting with different brands and types of speakers and learned that certain brands get louder than others such as O2, Beyma etc. I had one 02 Audio sealed back that got as loud as all the Emience but that's all it did was get loud, nothing else. With subs they will sound good cause you hear the vocals clear but without subs listening to a system filled with pa speakers can be a nightmare.
