98crewcabs tiny work truck system.....

Been AWHILE since posting on here. Alot going on over the past few years, and not very active....but always lurking in the shadows, lol

Anyways, with the help of a little christmas gift card action.....the work truck is finally getting a wee bit of stereo.

Fiberglass A Pillars with 2 polk audio 4" coax's in each

Fiberglass door panels with a couple of polks in each as well

center console with 2 type r tens, 2.8 cubes, 30sqin port, tuned to 34htz (trial box....lol)

and a 1500 watt 5 channel ......yea, I know. its a Hifonics BRX5000.5...like I said...budget build, lol

The work truck...an '06 chevy 2500 with a 6.0 and 4l80e. 4X4.....yawn, and a home built ladder rack....

still need to make grills for the A pillars, then finish everything else. subs will be in tomorrow, then I will know if i need to tear the box down and rebuild.....first time with tens....so we shall see. Think I still have a 12 mentality, so dificult downsizing enclosure specs....lol

subs came early, so I will know by tonight if i need to redo the console.....

I agree the console looks really really nice. The a pillars look pretty good as well. How does it sound up there with coaxials in there? I'd expect it to be a little harsh but maybe not. I'd love to see more.

Thanks, the pillars are turned down a bit at the amp. I love in your face highs, but not so much that it forces a "blink every time the high hats crash". Digging the box. think i could have used a bit more net volume....but didnt want to kill anymore room than I already did.

Sweet! I honestly thought about doing this type of A pillar, but was worried about that. Can't wait to see more.

eh, its only fiberglass, Figured if i didnt like it, just break it off and re do it:) actually this is the second set. the first ones had only 1 4" in each one.....looked like boobs....lol
