It will be 1 12 in a ported 3ft^ box tuned at about 30-31hz in a trunk of a 2012 vw jetta. Ive been looking at american bass xfl122 so I can wire it down to 1ohm on probably a soundstream amp that does 1500 at 1. But I'm really just looking for recommendations on a good setup. Budget is 550
Aj11 Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 getting a new sub, in the same box on the same power prolly isn't gonna do much for you. if you are building a new box... maybe. but 1200w is 1200w. fi sp4, dc xl, sundown x, z4.
