juan777
How hard was it taking the dash off? Or how long did it take? I need to get to my blend door and I'm debating do this myself? Well you gotta loosen some things to get to the dash if I remember correctly. My cousin can take Chevy and Ford dashes off (among other common dashes) in his sleep so it took him probably 1.5hrs tops. I would say anywhere around 2 -4hrs. Need a Philips screwdriver and a 7mm socket. juan777
I took a 2 week vacation on the 20th so I think I'm gonna do it. Did you disconnect the air bag fuse? No, not sure if you're supposed to but we didn't. With this style truck and big bass the airbag sensor would go off the moment the bass drops anyway so we have the bag permanently unplugged and disabled. Fuck passenger safety I'm here to demo! Ahmed Johnson
My man. I wasn't worried about future issues. I was worried about that bitch popping out on me while I'm taking the dash off. One more question, was any part of that shit glued?

I was worried about that bitch popping out on me while I'm taking the dash off. One more question, was any part of that shit glued? No it was all screws as far as I remember. My recollection is pretty fuzzy as I always drink while working on the L@zy Hoe so take that info with a grain of salt but yeah no glue I'm like 70% sure. juan777
Ok so now for the pics of the box build. Like I said in my initial post I got a little silly for my first test. I had a room full of audio in the house that was basically unusable for months so I wanted to clear out, buuuuttttt I still daily the Tahoe so I couldn't have it apart, or drying or anything since I could get called at a moment's notice from work to drive somewhere. So I figured for the first test I would build 2 separate boxes outside the Hoe and stack 'em. My next rebuild will be built inside the vehicle and I'm debating having a shop here do it since There's always a big mess at the house for months when I do a build for anything bigger than 2 12s. Pics coming now!
