Had a hard time getting into the show side since it's not a bass show but one of the staff supervisors from last year recognized the truck and had the staff let me in and escort us to a good spot at the Aces Performance booth. Played all day in 70 degree weather, amps never got hot and subs never skipped a beat. I had to start doing rapid fire demos (Keep same song going and just roll the bass down for next demo) just to keep up with crowd demand. I'm guessing I gave 250-300 demos with 2 breaks in between from 12pm to 7pm. juan777 Posted November 1, 2016 Author Report Share Posted November 1, 2016 The Termlab Magnum was awesome but required quite a few moving pieces plus my laptop to run. I purchased it initially because a bluetooth app was on the way, as far as I know it hasn't come out yet. So I decided to sell it to some friends that actually compete so that it can be put to good use. With the money I immediately ordered a SSA-APM-2. All I need now is the actual meter and my phone. I may take this to shows and help people get an idea of where they are. I was unable to test both meters sided by side, but I've seen a few videos on YT and it is spot on. I took the SSA out today for the first time and on music it is showing me the same kind of numbers I would see on the TL. It is extremely simple to operate and small enough to carry. I'll give an update in a few weeks but so far in an hour of playing with it, the app froze twice, it came right back up so no big deal and it could well be my phone for all I know so not an issue for now. I can play 17-65Hz doors open, closed, windows etc... 17-19Hz is just silly and not strong honestly, I have awesome scores 20andUp. Nothing crazy, I'm not the loudest by any stretch, but I have great bandwidth and SQ. I can also demo full tilt all day!
