Bump4life Posted January 13, 2015 Report Posted January 13, 2015 charger. ctek 7002. make sure you dont have a parasitic draw. test my getting multimeter. or clamp meter with milli amp setting, and testing draw on battery with car off. guess that would be faster then doing it how i said lol all you have top do is disconnect battery negative. put multimeter in amperage mode and connect postive (red wire) to battery ground and negative (black wire) to car ground. and it should give you an amperage draw reading. if its too much and blows multimeter amp fuse well you have some serious parasitic draw clamp meter is much easier though and requires no removing of wires Buyer/Seller Feedback Thread: http://www.stevemead...5015-bump4life/ MB C220 153 Trunk Car Build Log: http://www.stevemead...d/#entry1840136 MB C280 Ipad Dash SQ Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194484-bump4lifes-new-benz-tony-c-relay-kit-pictures-ce-electric-audison-front-stage-installed/ My SPL Log: http://www.stevemead...__fromsearch__1 BMW M340 xDrive Stock, for now. Ill re read the xs post but I think it said to charge at 14.4v... isnt that the normal mode?
YukonDCXL Posted January 15, 2015 Author Report Posted January 15, 2015 and I just re read... xs says to charge at 14.4v for 12v batteries and the instruction manual to the ctek 7002 says normal mode charges at 14.4, and snowflake charges at 14.7. So unless I am misreading something then you are wrong.
