Also is ther anyone in the Bowling green, ky area with a term lab? SYSTEM info: Ford Explorer 26 cubes changable ports 4 18" SXs Soundstream XXX10000D 300 Amp Alt 3- deka intimidators 1 YT under the hood A New Begining Starting Over 2003 F-150 extended Cab Head unit: Pioneer 880 Speakers: JBL 6.5 comps and 8's in doors Amp: JBL 100x4 & JBL GTO700.1 Sub Amp: ? Decaf Posted April 3, 2008 Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 i hope u mean 26cubes total if so ~300sqin port ~34hz daily, ~40hz burb (cause im guessing u have a 4 door (~43hz 2 door) and they peak a little lower usually) thats a start but as a rule of thumb, always tune lower first, so you can just cut off extra off the end of the port to raise tuning if u need to, my .02c are you using the xxx @ 4ohms? thatll be nice Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jbloud47 Posted April 4, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 4, 2008 yeah the box is 26 with a 35 HZ port, i also have a 40 HZ port that will raise it to 28 cubes total both ports are 380 Sq in, i was trying to fing out if i should make another port with less area for burping, and the comp is in Bowling Green and will be going to the Etown one the next day.
